Terms of service

Last updated: 10/10/25

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service govern the use of the website www.conquertables.com (“the Website”) and the purchase of products and services supplied by Conquer Tables Ltd (“Conquer”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By visiting the Website, engaging with our content, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access the Website or purchase our products.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of the latest version.

  1. Bespoke, Made-to-Order Manufacturing

Conquer specialises in the manufacture of custom-built shuffleboards and gaming tables. Many products include personalised artwork, specific dimensions, specialist finishes, and unique design elements. All production timelines are estimates; actual timelines may vary due to design revisions, third-party printing schedules, material lead times, resin curing duration, and seasonal production volume. We will take reasonable steps to communicate material changes to the estimated timeline, but such estimates do not form a binding guarantee.

A deposit is required to secure a build slot. Due to the bespoke nature of our products, all deposits paid for shuffleboards and gaming tables are strictly non-refundable.

  1. Natural Materials: Timber, Resin and Behaviour Over Time

The playing surface of a Conquer shuffleboard is constructed from natural timber combined with resin. Both timber and resin are reactive materials that respond to environmental factors including temperature, humidity, and airflow. Expansion, contraction, micro-movement or settling of the surface or resin elements is a natural characteristic of these materials and does not constitute a defect or workmanship issue.

Variations in grain pattern, colour tone, resin distribution, resin clarity, or natural movement over time are an inherent part of the product and form part of the artistic and functional character of a handmade shuffleboard. These natural variations do not provide grounds for return, replacement or refund.

  1. Artwork, Custom Logos and Printing

Where a customer instructs Conquer to incorporate custom artwork or logos, the customer must approve final artwork before printing. Resin work cannot begin until printed artwork is received from our external print partners. Delays arising from artwork approval or third-party print schedules may extend production timelines.

Conquer accepts no responsibility for colour variance, print deviation or artwork distortion where the customer has approved the artwork or failed to identify errors prior to approval.

  1. Variations in Manufacturing, Finishes and Aesthetics

Due to the use of natural woods, resin, metals and handcrafted elements, each product is unique. Variations in finish, tone, or texture may occur. Images on the Website are for illustrative purposes only and do not guarantee identical results.

  1. Commercial Venues and Installation Responsibilities

Where installation at a commercial venue is included or arranged, the customer is responsible for ensuring that adequate access is available, including correct measurements for doorways, stairways, corridors, and installation areas. Conquer is not liable for delays, additional labour, or damage caused by inadequate access, unsafe site conditions, or venue-related obstructions.

If installers must return due to incomplete venue readiness, insufficient access, or delays outside our control, additional call-out or labour charges may apply. Conquer is not responsible for electrical supply issues within the venue or for any structural matters that interfere with installation or operation.

  1. Intellectual Property, Trademark Protection and Proprietary Designs

The name CONQUER is a registered trademark in the United Kingdom and is legally protected. All rights associated with the CONQUER brand, including logos, product names, marketing materials, and associated goodwill, belong exclusively to Conquer Tables Ltd.

In addition, all shuffleboard and gaming tables produced by Conquer, including their distinctive design elements, structural characteristics, engineering methods, cabinet construction principles, unique design “character,” proprietary mechanisms, internal systems, and any innovations developed by Conquer, are protected by a combination of copyright, unregistered design rights, database rights, and intellectual property rights arising under UK law.

This protection applies to:

  • The aesthetic appearance and configuration of our tables.

  • The engineering, mechanisms, systems and solutions used within our designs.

  • The unique character, proportions, material combinations and distinctive design identity of Conquer products.

  • Drawings, renderings, photographs, logos, product specifications, and technical descriptions.

Reproduction, imitation, adaptation, manufacture, distribution or commercial use of Conquer designs, mechanisms, or brand assets without express written permission is strictly prohibited. Conquer actively monitors and enforces its intellectual property rights, including legal action where necessary.

  1. Delivery, Shipping, and International Transport

Delivery dates are approximate and may be affected by courier schedules, customs processes, weather conditions or operational delays. Customers must ensure accurate delivery information and must inspect all packaging upon arrival. Any visible damage must be reported immediately to the courier and to Conquer.

For orders delivered to Northern Ireland, the EU or international destinations, additional customs documentation, duties, taxes, environmental compliance charges, or import fees may apply. Such charges are the responsibility of the customer. Delays caused by customs authorities or international freight handlers are outside the control of Conquer and do not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund.

   9. Collection, Storage and Delayed Collection Charges

Where a customer elects to collect goods directly from Conquer Tables Ltd, collection must be arranged within 7 calendar days from the date the order is confirmed as complete and ready for collection.

A grace period of 7 days from the completion notification will be provided free of charge. After this period, storage charges will apply at a rate of £100 per week (or part thereof) until the goods are collected in full.

Conquer reserves the right to invoice and require payment of all outstanding storage charges prior to releasing the goods. Continued failure to arrange collection or settle storage fees may result in further action, including but not limited to the recovery of reasonable storage costs, handling fees, and any associated administrative expenses.

Conquer shall not be held responsible for any delays in collection caused by the customer, their agents, or third-party couriers arranged by the customer. Any additional handling, re-preparation, or demonstration of the product following completion may also be subject to additional charges.

   10. Order Cancellation

Due to the bespoke nature of Conquer shuffleboards and gaming tables, orders may not be cancelled once the order has been confirmed. The deposit paid to secure the manufacturing slot is strictly non-refundable under all circumstances, as the deposit covers design work, material allocation, scheduling, and production preparation.

If the customer elects to cancel an order after paying 50% of the order value, the sum paid to that point will be forfeited. This reflects the advanced stage of production, commitment of materials, bespoke work completed, and allocation of manufacturing resources. These terms comply with UK regulations governing custom-made goods.

   11. Faults, Warranty and Limitations

Conquer provides a warranty against manufacturing defects for a period defined at the time of sale. This warranty does not cover damage or issues arising from misuse, improper levelling, insufficient climate control, humidity extremes, neglect, venue misuse, unauthorised modification or commercial overuse beyond normal expectation.

Resin surfaces, natural wood movement, and aesthetic variations are not defects and are not covered under warranty. Conquer’s liability is limited to repair or replacement of defective components at our discretion. We shall not be liable for financial loss, business interruption, loss of venue revenue, consequential damages or indirect losses.
